Christmas in Jamaica!

Here is a sampling of photos that Brandon sent from Christmas. We sent him a box for Christmas, and made him a personalized stocking. In the background you can see the string of lights we also sent along. I kind of wished he'd gotten the box early enough to have them up during December, but this works also!

To give him a "taste of home", we sent him some of our gingerbread cookies, with icing & sprinkles to decorate his own. I'm not sure what he did with the icing tips, since it looks like he's using it straight from the tube!

It wouldn't be Christmas without eggnog! We didn't ship it (are you kidding?), so he must have gotten some locally, perhaps at the mission Christmas party:

One of our family traditions has been cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Christmas morning. Brandon geared up way early for this, to make sure he had the recipe & all the ingredients. Since their kitchen counter space is pretty limited, he made his rolls on his desk. However, he ran into an issue with runny dough, so it ended up as a loaf. I think it tasted just fine, though!

And, he finally sent us a photo of President and Sister Graff, also from the mission Christmas party in Kingston. Santa also visited the elders there, and there was a basketball tournament in Portmore as well.

Brandon also mailed out just a few Christmas cards this year, which we were thrilled to receive. It's officially the Card from the Farthest Location we've ever gotten! Merry Christmas!!!
